Dr. Sinead Morris is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Applied Sciences at South East Technological University (SETU), focusing on brewing, distilling, and environmental biotechnology. She holds a PhD in Microbial Bioremediation from IT Carlow (2019) and a Bachelors in Bioscience with Biopharma (2015), alongside a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Statistics from TU Dublin (2023).

She is affiliated with the enviroCORE research group and leads the Optimisation of Irish Pot Still Whiskey project (2024–2028).
