Dr. Sinead Agnew is the Catherine Seville Associate Professor in Law at the University of Cambridge's Faculty of Law and a Fellow of Newnham College. She teaches Equity to undergraduates and Advanced Private Law to postgraduates, and supervises doctoral candidates. Her research focuses on private law, equity, trusts, and legal history, with a particular interest in the moral and historical underpinnings of equitable doctrines. She has been recognized for her teaching excellence, including the Research Supervisor of the Year 2024 award from the Cambridge University Students Union.
