She has held visiting roles at Columbia University, the European University Institute, and others. Her work is published in leading journals like the Modern Law Review and Cambridge Law Journal, and she co-edited volumes on equity and trust law with Oxford University Press.
Her research explores how equity balances moral principles with legal frameworks, particularly in posthumous trusts and fiduciary duties. Key themes include the legitimacy of ‘dead hand’ control over property and the normative role of conscience in resolving legal disputes. She is an editorial board member of Jurisprudence and contributes to the Oxford Theory of Private Law series.
Samet has received grants for conferences on equity theory and legal philosophy. Her projects include analyzing the moral foundations of trusts and the evolution of equity in liberal societies. She emphasizes bridging gaps between philosophical theory and practical legal applications, advocating for equity as a conduit for moral accountability in law.
