Sina Werner

Sina Werner serves as a Research Fellow at the Institute of English Studies (IES), Leuphana University Lüneburg, under the Professorship for English Didactics. Her work integrates language education research with practical teaching methodologies within the university's academic framework.

Her research focuses on English Didactics and Applied Linguistics, specializing in pragmatic development in foreign language learners. Key areas include Variational Pragmatics (particularly Irish English contexts), Corpus Linguistics applications, and technology-enhanced language teaching through initiatives like Interact4School and QualiTIES. Her scholarship emphasizes cross-contextual language acquisition and pedagogical innovation.

As part of IES, she contributes to the LinA-Lab for corpus linguistics and the TEFL Lab's flipped classroom methodologies.
