Simone Parker is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Music at Austin Peay State University (APSU), where she has taught since 2012. She maintains an independent teaching studio, Sparkling Keys and Strings, and offers Alexander Technique sessions since 2015. She serves as principal pianist for the Paducah Symphony Orchestra and regularly accompanies APSU music students. Her teaching excellence was recognized with the 2010 Excellence of Teaching Award from the APSU-Community School of the Arts.

Her expertise spans piano, violin, and viola instruction, coupled with Alexander Technique training to enhance physical coordination in performance. Mrs. Parker has presented at summer music camps and held roles as church pianist and music director. She is fluent in German and English.
