Simona Pedde

Simona Pedde is an External employee at the Soil Geography and Landscape department of Wageningen University. Her research focuses on climate change scenarios, resilience, and the intersection of environmental policy with socioeconomic factors. She contributes to global initiatives such as the Lancet Planetary Health–Earth Commission report and European climate risk assessments. Her work emphasizes transdisciplinary approaches to leverage knowledge integration and policy implementation.

Key research interests include climate resilience strategies, scenario development for decision-making, and addressing equity in global environmental governance. Her projects span climate risk management in Europe, scenario-based policy analysis, and participatory methods for envisioning transformative futures.
