Simona Daniutė is an Assistant Professor at Vilnius University Siauliai Academy. She holds a Doctoral Degree in Social Sciences (Education) from Vilnius University (2022), focusing on the relationship between phonological disorder treatment approaches and evidence-based speech therapy practice. Her academic journey includes a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Special Needs Teacher Training from Siauliai University, with specializations in Speech Therapy and Special Education.
Her research interests center on assessment and intervention of speech and language disorders, evidence-based practices in speech therapy, and phonetic/phonological disorders. She has extensive practical experience as a speech and language therapist and special needs teacher from 2015 to 2021 in Šiauliai District schools.
Professionally, she serves as a Board member of the Lithuanian Logopedists’ Association (LLA), an Ambassador for Raising Awareness of Developmental Language Disorder (RADLD), and a member of the Baltic States Speech-Language Therapists’ Scientific Committee. Her involvement includes research networks like RENET (Researchers' Excellence Network) and contributions to the Institute of Education and Regional Development at Vilnius University.
