Laima Tomėnienė is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Education within the Šiauliai Academy of Vilnius University, specializing in inclusive education and special educational needs. She holds a PhD in Social Sciences (Education) from Šiauliai University (2014), focusing on functional mathematical literacy development for students with special needs. Education: Began as a certified special pedagogue (1995), earned a Master’s in Social Sciences (1997), and completed doctoral research on mathematical literacy in mainstream schools (2014).
