Simona Candiani is a Full Professor at the Department of Earth, Environmental, and Life Sciences (DISTAV) at the University of Genoa. She teaches courses such as Developmental Biology, Forensic Cytology and Histology, and Evolution of Marine Vertebrates. Her research focuses on comparative anatomy, cell biology, and developmental biology, with a strong emphasis on marine organisms and ecotoxicology.
