Simon Waddington

Simon Waddington is a Professor of Gene Therapy at the University College London (UCL) within the Ega Institute for Women's Health and Faculty of Population Health Sciences. His work bridges gene therapy, maternal-fetal medicine, and genetic disorder research.

Research interests focus on translational gene therapy for childhood inherited diseases, particularly neurodegenerative disorders, metabolic conditions, and lysosomal storage diseases.
