Simon Villeneuve is a physics and astronomy professor at Cégep de Chicoutimi, a public college in Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, Quebec. Key roles include directing the Natural Sciences collection since its 2013 inauguration and volunteering as a translator/proofreader for works like Einstein's 1905 electrodynamics paper (2013), Freud's Totem et Tabou (2013), and Churchill's 1940 speech (2013). He also revised Bertrand Russell's Éloge de l’oisiveté (2014), showcasing interdisciplinary engagement across physics, philosophy, and history.
