Simon Powis

Dr. Simon Powis is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Medicine, University of St Andrews, UK. He leads research at the Centre for Biophotonics and Biomedical Sciences Research Complex, focusing on Major Histocompatibility Complex (MHC) class I molecules and their role in immune surveillance and disease.

• Research Interests: MHC class I immunobiology, antigen presentation via exosomes/extracellular vesicles, tumor immunology, immunopeptidomics, Salmonella pathogenesis, and HLA-B27-associated ankylosing spondylitis.
