Simon Paasch

Simon Paasch is a Researcher at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research - UFZ, affiliated with the Department of Monitoring and Exploration Technologies. He holds a Master of Science in Physical Geography (University of Leipzig, 2021) and a Bachelor of Science in Geography (Philipps-Universität Marburg, 2016).

Research Interests: Paasch specializes in environmental sensor systems and water resources management, with a focus on climate change impacts. He contributes to MIRO, a project modeling farm-level water availability to optimize resource planning for fruit growers in Central Germany.
