Dr Simon Moore is a Lecturer in Synthetic Biology at Queen Mary University of London's School of Biological and Behavioural Sciences. He leads research in cell-free synthetic biology, focusing on antimicrobial resistance, biosynthesis of natural products, and high-yield cell-free systems for industrial applications. His work bridges synthetic biology with infectious disease solutions, collaborating with Syngenta (agricultural pathogens) and UKHSA (AMR studies).
