Simon Meier is a visiting PhD researcher at the University of Koblenz, Germany, affiliated with the Business Application Systems department. From December 2024 to March 2025, he is hosted by Associate Professor Paul Scifleet at CIRES, Swinburne University of Technology, where he works on Enterprise applications of knowledge graphs.
His academic background includes bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Business Informatics from the University of Koblenz. Since January 2022, he has been a research associate in the Business Application Systems group under Professor Dr. Petra Schubert, focusing on the SoNBO (Social Network of Business Objects) project. His research explores ontology-based information integration for digital workplaces.
