Professor Simon Koblar is a clinician-scientist and the first Professor of Neurology and Neuroscience at the University of Adelaide. He leads the Stroke Research Programme (SRP) and the Adelaide Centre for Neuroscience Research (ACNR), fostering multidisciplinary collaborations between SAHMRI, University of Adelaide, Basil Hetzel Institute, and hospitals. His research spans stroke prevention, molecular and cellular mechanisms of ischaemic stroke, and clinical translation of therapeutic pathways.
