Simon Ingram

Dr. Simon Ingram is Associate Professor of Marine Conservation at University of Plymouth's School of Biological and Marine Sciences. He serves as Deputy Head of School and academic member of the Marine Vertebrate Conservation Research Unit. His teaching covers marine biology and conservation across undergraduate and postgraduate programs including Ocean Science, Marine Conservation, and Environmental Science.

Research focuses on marine ecosystem conservation with emphasis on cetacean behavior, human impacts on marine environments, and sustainable fisheries. Key projects include vulnerability assessments of bottlenose dolphins and southern right whale population studies.
