Dr. Simon Hart is a Professor in Respiratory Medicine at the Hull York Medical School, affiliated with the Centre for Clinical Sciences and Institute for Clinical and Applied Health Research (ICAHR). As Lead Clinician for Hull Interstitial Lung Disease and Sarcoidosis Services since 2008, he bridges clinical practice with cutting-edge research.
His education includes a PhD in Neutrophil and Macrophage Biology from the MRC Centre for Inflammation Research, following medical training in Respiratory and General Medicine in southeast Scotland. Research focuses on progressive pulmonary fibrosis and sarcoidosis, spanning
