Simon Aristeguieta is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Library and Information Science at Pennsylvania Western University. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, a Master's in Information Sciences from the University of Puerto Rico, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from The University of California Berkeley.
His research focuses on library services for rural communities, information practices, and educational innovation in online environments. His work examines how users interact with information systems and develops new approaches to library service design.
A collaborative scholar, Aristeguieta has presented research at major conferences on topics including teen engagement with library spaces and community-centered information access solutions.
