Simon Alberti

Simon Alberti is a Professor at Technische Universität Dresden and Group Leader at the Max-Planck-Institute for Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics (MPI-CBG), Dresden, Germany. He holds a PhD in Biology from the University of Bonn and completed postdoctoral research at the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research in Cambridge, USA. His research focuses on cytoplasm organization under environmental stress, cellular aging, protein aggregation, and membrane-less organelle dynamics. He has been at MPI-CBG since 2010 and became an honorary professor at TU Dresden in 2016.
