Sima Alidokht

Sima Alidokht is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Materials Engineering at Memorial University of Newfoundland. She holds a Ph.D. and postdoctoral research experience from McGill University, specializing in materials engineering with a focus on cold spray, tribology, and coating technologies. Her research emphasizes tribo-corrosion resistant coatings, multi-principal element alloys, and erosion-resistant materials for aerospace and space applications.

Research Interests: She investigates surface engineering solutions for high-performance materials, including thermal spray processes, additive manufacturing, and multi-scale material characterization. Her work targets applications in aerospace, aeroengine components, and space technology.
