Silvio Angelo Garattini

Professor Silvio Garattini serves as President of the Mario Negri Institute for Pharmacological Research (IRCCS), which he founded in 1963 after stepping down as Assistant Professor at the University of Milan's Institute of Pharmacology. Under his leadership spanning over 50 years, the institute has become a globally recognized center for pharmacological research with significant contributions to public health policy.
