Silvia Alexandrova

Assoc. Prof. Silvia Alexandrova is a faculty member at the Department of Early-modern and Modern General History, Faculty of History, St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Turnovo. Her career spans three decades of research in modern history, with a focus on international relations, US-China dynamics, and geopolitical transitions.

Research Interests: Silvia's work explores intersections of Modern History, Cold War Studies, and Globalization, analyzing topics like US foreign policy, Chinese political economy, and postwar ideological conflicts. She integrates interdisciplinary methods and digital humanities into teaching and research.

Recent Publications: Her 2025 studies address Winston Churchill's Cold War legacy and China's post-Deng reforms. Earlier works examine US-Russia interactions in 1917, post-WWI East Asia, and Theodore Roosevelt's globalism. These reflect her expertise in international diplomacy and revolutionary transitions.
