Silvana Ghali is a Lecturer at the National School of Architecture Paris La Villette and a doctoral candidate at Paris Ouest Nanterre la Défense University (ED 395). Under the supervision of Alessia de Biase at the Architecture Anthropology laboratory (UMR 7218 LAVUE), her research focuses on the temporalities of urban transformation, particularly in working-class neighborhoods in the Middle East. Her thesis, Drawn horizons? Mapping the temporalities of urban transformation, is supported by a doctoral contract from the Ministry of Culture and Communication (2013–2016).
