Silvana Bazzoni

Silvana Bazzoni is a Full Professor in the Department of Mathematics 'Tullio Levi-Civita' at the University of Padua, Italy. Her academic career has been dedicated to advancing research in algebra, with particular focus on ring theory, module theory, and category theory.

Professor Bazzoni's research interests include model categories and homotopy theory, t-structures in derived categories, localizations in triangulated categories, recollements, functor categories, Mittag-Leffler modules, tilting equivalences, infinitely generated tilting and cotilting modules, cotorsion pairs and approximation theory, and the study of Prüfer domains and their modules.

Her publication record shows consistent research productivity from 2001 through 2024, with recent work focusing on cotorsion pairs, tilting theory, and the homological properties of modules over commutative rings.
