Research Interests: Silun explores dynamic resource allocation, inequality, firm growth, and the impact of new technologies on labor markets. Her work bridges economic theory with financial applications, emphasizing spatiotemporal labor mobility and monetary policy effects on stock returns.
Supervisors: Professor Shuxing Yin (Associate Dean for Internationalisation and Reputation) and Professor Sabur Mollah (Chair in Financial Management), both at the Sheffield University Management School.
