Silke Kaiser

Prof. Silke Kaiser is a Professor of Childhood Education at the Evangelical University of Freiburg, serving as both the Equal Opportunities Officer and Head of the Master's Program in Childhood Education and Care. Her research focuses on middle/late childhood education, resilience, professional development, and educational transitions. She holds a PhD in resilience promotion among young children and has extensive practical experience in social pedagogy and early childhood care.

Appointed to the Baden-Württemberg State Family Council (2024-2027), she advocates for family welfare and equitable educational access. Her academic roles include leading the Center for Child and Youth Research (ZfKJ) projects like QuebIn, aiming to enhance professional interactions in childcare settings.
