Silas G.T. Laycock is an Associate Professor at the University of Massachusetts Lowell’s Kennedy College of Sciences, Department of Physics & Applied Physics. His research focuses on neutron stars, black holes, X-ray binaries, pulsars, and multiwavelength/time-domain astrophysics. Dr. Laycock joined UMass Lowell in 2010 after postdoctoral work at Gemini Observatory and Harvard Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics.
