Sikander Adeni

Sikander Adeni, M.D., is an Affiliate Faculty member in the Department of Pediatrics at Dell Medical School, University of Texas at Austin. He specializes in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and has focused his clinical expertise on severe respiratory failure in newborns, pulmonary hypertension of the newborn, and neonatal ethics.

• Education: M.D. from Rangaraya Medical College, India; Fellowship in Pediatrics at Hahnemann University School of Medicine; Fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at University of Illinois Hospital.

Adeni has been active in clinical care since joining Mednax Medical Group in Austin in 2001. His professional interests include teaching trainees and optimizing neonatal care in delivery rooms. Outside of medicine, he enjoys travel, tennis, gardening, reading, and exploring amateur history and philosophy.
