Sigrun Høgetveit Berg is a Professor of Ancient History at the Department of Archaeology, History, Religious Studies and Theology, UiT The Arctic University of Norway. Her research focuses on church and society during the Middle Ages, the Reformation centuries, and early modern times, particularly in northern regions. She contributes to the research group Creating the New North (CNN) under the Center for Arctic Humanities.
