Sigrid Smith, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor and Biostatistician in the Department of Agriculture & Natural Resources at Delaware State University (DSU), affiliated with the College of Agriculture, Sciences, and Technology (CAST). Her research focuses on ecological communities and socio-environmental systems, with expertise in GIS, remote sensing, and data analytics.
Education:
- Ph.D. in Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation Biology, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2010)
- B.S. in Biology and Environmental Studies, Tufts University (2003)
