Signe Søvik is a Professor at the Institute of Clinical Medicine, University of Oslo, and a senior consultant anesthesiologist at the Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, Akershus University Hospital, Norway. She is affiliated with the Research Group for Human Integrative Cardiovascular Control (CIRCON) and collaborates with departments of Infectious Diseases, Cardiology, and Emergencies and Critical Care across Oslo and Akershus University Hospitals.
Her research focuses on acute respiratory and cardiovascular physiology, emergency medical care evaluation, and statistical modeling of complex medical systems.
