Dr. phil. Siegfried Schieder is a Professor of International Relations and Political Economy at the Institute of Political Science, Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg. He will serve as substitute professor for the W3 Professorship of International Politics and Political Economy at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nuremberg during the 2024/2025 academic year while maintaining his position at Heidelberg University. His academic career spans multiple prestigious institutions including Technical University of Darmstadt, University of Trier, and European University Institute in Florence.
