Prof. Dr. habil. Siegfried Eigler is a faculty member at the Institute of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Freie Universität Berlin, specializing in Organic Chemistry. His research focuses on carbon nanomaterials, particularly the synthesis, structure, and functionalization of graphene oxide for applications in composite materials and electronic components.

- Habilitation in Organic Chemistry at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg (2014)
Research Interests include:
- Graphene oxide synthesis and reactivity
