Siddhartha Ghosh

Siddhartha Ghosh is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago, affiliated with the College of Engineering. His work focuses on advanced semiconductor materials and optoelectronic device development.

Research Interests: Dr. Ghosh specializes in molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) for compound semiconductors and multifunctional oxides (e.g., BaTiO3, ZnO, HgCdTe). His work includes fabrication of high-performance optoelectronic devices, characterization of HgCdTe detectors and avalanche photodiodes, and the development of spintronic devices using nanowires and novel spin injectors.
