Sian Vance

Sian Vance is a Lecturer in Fashion Communication at the Manchester Fashion Institute, Manchester Metropolitan University. With a blended career in industry and academia, she combines over 10 years of professional experience as a Fashion Image Maker & Stylist with academic roles. She holds a BA (Hons) in Fashion: Image Making & Styling from the University of Salford (2014), a PGCE from the University of Huddersfield (2016), and is currently pursuing a Master's in Higher Education at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Her academic service includes roles as Level 6 Year Manager and member of the Education Management Group, focusing on enhancing final-year student experiences through innovative engagement activities. Professional expertise spans trend forecasting, consumer behavior analysis, and contemporary cultural studies, alongside practical work in commercial fashion campaigns and e-commerce imagery development. Her personal photographic projects have been exhibited nationally.
