Dr. Paul T Morgan is a Senior Lecturer in Human Nutrition and Metabolism at Manchester Metropolitan University's Institute of Sport. He holds certifications as a Registered Sport and Exercise Nutritionist (SENr), CASES Accredited Exercise Scientist, and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. His research focuses on integrating exercise and nutrition interventions, particularly protein and gut metabolism, across lifespan stages. He leads projects on sustainable protein sources, skeletal muscle health, and clinical populations like myositis and cystic fibrosis patients.
Education: Ph.D. (Exercise Physiology, University of Exeter, 2018), MSc (Sport and Health Sciences, University of Exeter), BSc (Sport and Exercise Sciences, University of Exeter). Career highlights include postdoctoral research at the University of Birmingham and roles at Exeter City Football Club.
