Dr. Si Kai Lee is a Postdoctoral Syntax Instructor and researcher at the University of Chicago, where he has been teaching since 2024. He holds a Ph.D. in Linguistics from the University of Connecticut (2023). His research focuses on generative syntax, semantics, and their interface, with a particular emphasis on the contact variety Singlish, his native language. He also explores information structure and linguistic theory through the lens of Singaporean English.
