Dr. Shuxia Guo serves as a Research Scientist and Head of Working Group at the Leibniz Institute of Photonic Technology (Leibniz-IPHT), where she leads the AI Laboratory for IR (Infrared Research) within the Photonic Data Science department.

Her research focuses on the critical intersection of photonics and artificial intelligence, specializing in data science applications for infrared spectroscopy and optical sensing systems. Dr. Guo's work develops advanced computational methods to extract meaningful information from complex photonic datasets, bridging theoretical optical physics with practical machine learning implementations.
