Shushana Rucker

Shushana Rucker is an accomplished artist and educator serving as a Continuing Education Instructor at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA), with additional teaching appointments at Brigham Young University-Idaho and the Art Museum of Eastern Idaho. Based in Idaho since relocating from Philadelphia in 2015 with her family, she maintains an active studio practice exploring the visual dialogue between her birthplace's urban landscapes and her current Western surroundings through printmaking, painting, and book arts.

Her formal art education includes:

• Certificate in Printmaking from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts
• MFA from the University of Delaware (awarded with full tuition scholarship and stipend)

Rucker's artistic practice centers on representational works across traditional mediums, with particular emphasis on technical craftsmanship in printmaking and book arts.
