Shunqing Shen

Shunqing Shen serves as Professor and Chair of Condensed Matter Physics within the Department of Physics at the Faculty of Science, The University of Hong Kong.

He completed his academic foundation with a B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. from Fudan University.

His research specialization centers on Condensed Matter Physics, investigating the electronic, magnetic, and structural properties of solid and liquid matter. This field drives advancements in quantum materials, superconductivity, and nanoscale phenomena with applications spanning semiconductor technology to quantum computing.
