Dr. Shujie Cui is a Lecturer in the Department of Software Systems & Cybersecurity at Monash University's Faculty of Information Technology. They hold a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Auckland (2019) and previously conducted postdoctoral research in the Large-Scale Data & Systems (LSDS) group at Imperial College London. Their research focuses on applied cryptography, cloud computing security, trusted execution environments, and privacy-preserving machine learning.
Notable collaborations include projects on quantum information technology applications, privacy-preserving machine learning, and sustainability informatics for the Pacific. Current research interests span blockchain-based energy trading systems and unbiased recommendation algorithms.
