Shuhui Grace Yang

Shuhui Grace Yang is a Professor of Computer Science and Department Chair at Purdue University Northwest. Her expertise spans wireless communication, mobile computing, distributed systems, and cybersecurity, with a focus on smart infrastructure applications and inclusive education in computing.

Her research explores wireless security and privacy, cloud and green computing, and distributed system design. Recent work includes blockchain middleware and QoS optimization for mobile applications. She has received the Provost Fellowship for academic excellence and secured multiple NSF grants for her research. Yang also contributes to PNW’s Center for Cybersecurity and teaches courses ranging from foundational programming to advanced distributed systems.
