Shudong Hao

Shudong Hao is a Teaching Assistant Professor and Associate Chair for Graduate Studies in the Department of Computer Science at Stevens Institute of Technology. He holds a PhD from the University of Colorado Boulder and a BE from Beijing Forestry University, both in Computer Science.

His research focuses on developing natural language processing algorithms for minority languages, addressing limitations in existing machine learning frameworks. He aims to create generalized natural language frameworks applicable to low-resource languages. Current institutional roles include membership on the SES Graduate Studies Committee, Computer Science Curriculum Committee, and serving as Online MSCS Program Chair and Computer Science Graduate Studies Chair.

Teaching responsibilities include courses such as CS-392 Systems Programming and CS-382 Computer Architecture and Organization. Despite extensive academic contributions, he currently has no openings for research or teaching assistants.
