Dr. Shuchi Karim is an Adjunct Research Professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Carleton University, Canada, and serves as Research Chair Coordinator for the IDRC Research Chairs Network on Forced Displacement. Her work bridges academia, activism, and development, focusing on gender, sexuality, and transnational feminist frameworks. She holds a PhD from the Institute of Social Studies (ISS), The Hague (2012), and dual MA degrees from Jawaharlal Nehru University (India) and the University of Warwick (UK).
