Dr. Shubham Tripathi is a Yale-Boehringer Ingelheim Biomedical Data Science Fellow and Research Fellow in the Tsang lab at Yale School of Medicine. His research integrates computational and physics-based modeling to study systems biology of immune responses, tumor cell behavior, and cellular decision-making processes. Dr. Tripathi holds a PhD in Systems, Synthetic, and Physical Biology from Rice University (2022) and a BTech in Biological Sciences and Bioengineering from IIT Kanpur (2016).
Research focuses on mechanisms driving heterogeneity in immune responses to vaccination and infection, including epigenetic regulation, transcriptional dynamics, and EMT plasticity in cancer. Key areas include DNA supercoiling effects on transcription, IL-15-driven immune feedback loops, and multi-level modeling of hybrid phenotypes.
Publications span topics like nucleosome dynamics, tumor metabolism modeling, and lineage trajectory reconstruction using single-cell data. His work bridges physics principles with biological systems to address challenges in precision medicine and cancer immunology.
