Shubhada Sansgiry

Shubhada Sansgiry, Ph.D., BPharm, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Health Outcomes and Policy at Baylor College of Medicine. She concurrently serves as a Health Services Researcher/Methodologist at the Center for Innovations in Quality, Effectiveness, and Safety (IQuESt) at Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center and holds an Associate Professor position at the South Central Mental Illness Research Education and Clinical Center (MIRECC). Additionally, she maintains an adjunct appointment at the University of Houston College of Pharmacy.

Her academic foundation includes:

• M.S. in Pharmacoeconomics and Health Outcomes from Idaho State University (1996)
• B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Mumbai (1989)

Her work heavily utilizes Veterans Affairs datasets to evaluate medication adherence, quality-of-life metrics, and healthcare program effectiveness through rigorous observational studies and randomized trial designs.

She actively contributes to the IQuESt center's mission of optimizing healthcare delivery systems and participates in MIRECC's initiatives addressing mental health service delivery.
