Shu H Yau is a Senior Lecturer in Developmental Psychology (Research & Teaching, tenured) at Murdoch University's Centre for Healthy Ageing within the Health Futures Institute. They hold a BSc Psychology (1st Class Hons) from the University of Hull and a PhD in Cognitive Science from Macquarie University. As Director of the Cognition in Autism lab, they focus on neurodiversity research with a strengths-based approach, working closely with autistic individuals, families, and community organizations like The Kids Institute and Rocky Bay.
