معرفی
Shreeram Inamdar is a Professor in the Department of Plant & Soil Sciences at the University of Delaware, affiliated with the College of Agriculture & Natural Resources. His research focuses on watershed hydrology, biogeochemistry, and nutrient cycling, with an emphasis on understanding the impacts of anthropogenic land use legacies and climate change on aquatic ecosystems. He teaches courses on nonpoint source pollution and watershed hydrochemistry.
Education
- Ph.D. in Biological Systems Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University
- M.S. in Agricultural Engineering from University of Kentucky
- B.E. in Civil Engineering from Nagpur University, Nagpur, India
Research Interests
Dr. Inamdar investigates the sources, flowpaths, and fate of nutrients in watersheds, examining how historical land use practices (e.g., milldams, road salt salinization) and climate change affect water quality. His work integrates field monitoring with conceptual modeling to explore interactions between lithology, hydrology, biogeochemical cycles, and microbial processes in riparian and aquatic environments. He also develops strategies for enhancing ecosystem restoration through soil health engineering.
