Shrajan Bhandary is a Researcher (PreDoc role) at TU Wien's Faculty of Informatics, Department of Cyber-Physical Systems. His work is funded by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) as a Projektassistent (FWF). He holds an MSc degree.
Research focuses on AI-driven medical imaging and personalized treatment optimization, particularly in radiation therapy for glioblastoma and prostate cancer. Key projects include PersoRad (2020–2023) and a 2024–2027 FWF project on personalized medicine. His 2023 publication evaluates U-Net architectures for prostate segmentation.
He is affiliated with the Cyber-Physical Systems research group and contributes to open-source tools for medical applications.
